Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a crash that injured a driver at Campbell Rd in Winnie, TX on May 1st, 2022. Police say the incident happened around 8:29 p.m. Police are saying a Dodge Ram operated by 33-year-old Roberto Rojas was headed northbound on Campbell Rd when it veered into a ditch. It then truck a culvert, causing serious injuries to Rojas. Investigators allege Rojas was intoxicated at the time of the crash and reports indicate a Driving While Intoxicated charge was recommended and/or issued.
