Area authorities are investigating a crash that killed a man at State Hwy 302 in Ector County, TX on September 12th, 2021. Police say the incident happened around 10:10 p.m. A Buick passenger car operated by an 18-year-old driver was traveling westbound on Hwy 302 when it crossed a median and collided with a Dodge Durango operated by 32-year-old Rodolfo Lopez-Ramirez. Lopez-Ramirez was reportedly not wearing a seatbelt and suffered serious injuries. He was taken to an area hospital where he later died from his injuries. The other driver was hospitalized with serious injuries. Additional information was not available.
