Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a crash that injured a motorcyclist at FM 3040 in Lewisville, TX on August 4th, 2021. Police have said the incident occurred around 8:07 p.m. A Ford F-350 operated by a 40-year-old Lewisville man was headed westbound on Round Grove Rd and failed to yield while turning onto Oakbend Dr. It collided with an eastbound motorcycle operated by 19-year-old Rohan Sanjeev Gaikwad, which had a green light. Gaikwad suffered serious injuries in the collision. The Lewisville man, who investigators allege had been drinking, was not injured and charged with DWI.
