Authorities are investigating a crash that injured at least one person at FM 650 in Starr County, TX on January 28th, 2024. Police say the incident happened around 5:41 a.m. According to investigators, a Chevrolet Impala was headed southbound on a curve before losing control and crossing into a northbound lane. There, the vehicle struck a Chevrolet Tahoe police unit. The officer in the Tahoe had possible injuries, reports indicate, as did the driver of the Impala. A passenger in the Impala, identified as 40-year-old Rosabel Canales, was seriously injured, police say.
