What Happened

Authorities are investigating a crash that injured a motorcyclist at US 75 in Dallas, TX on June 1st, 2024. Police say the incident happened around 5:37 a.m. According to investigators, a Tesla Model Y traveled into the path of a motorcycle while performing an evasive maneuver to avoid another vehicle entering into its lane. As a result, reports say the motorcycle collided with the rear of the Tesla, seriously injuring 45-year-old operator, Ruben Astran. The driver of the Tesla was not publicly identified and allegedly uninjured. Authorities did not have any additional information available.
