Authorities are investigating a collision that injured a driver at State Hwy 154 in Upshur County, TX on August 2nd, 2024.  Police say the incident happened around 3:33 p.m. According to investigators, a Lexus RX 350 was headed westbound on Hwy 154, navigating a curve in the roadway. The vehicle is said to have left the roadway before losing control while attempting to return to the road. Instead, reports say the vehicle went into a skid and struck a tree in a south ditch before striking a second tree and coming to rest. Authorities say the driver, identified as 42-year-old Ryan Hagen, was seriously injured. Additional information was not available.
