What Happened

Area authorities are investigating a crash that injured three people at US 90 in San Antonio, TX on October 5th, 2021. Police say the incident happened around 4:57 p.m. A Mazda 6 operated by 30-year-old Sabrina Ann Mata was  reportedly attempting to merge into a lane occupied by a tractor-trailer when it clipped the front of the truck. The impact caused the Mazda to spin across both left lanes and into a median before overturning onto its roof. Mata, an 18-year-old female passenger and 2-year-old child all suffered minor injuries in the crash. Police also issued Mata citations for No Operators License and No Liability Insurance.
