What Happened

Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a crash that injured two people at I-35 and Valley Ridge Blvd in Lewisville, TX on June 7th, 2021. Police say the incident happened around 9 p.m. A Ford Explorer operated by 42-year-old Samuel Gamble was said to have been traveling at a high rate of speed before it crashed into a tractor-trailer parked in a travel lane. The driver of the truck was outside the vehicle near the fuel tank and the impact of the crash caused one of the trucks tires to roll over his leg. Both men were taken to an area hospital for treatment of serious injuries.
