What Happened

Montgomery County Police have arrested a driver in connection with a crash that killed a person at I-45 at Tamina in Montgomery County, TX on July 3rd, 2021. Police say the incident happened around 2:27 a.m. A vehicle operated by 28-year-old Cindy Carina Rosales-Romero was reportedly involved in a street race when it lost control after colliding with another vehicle and hitting a light pole. A 24-year-old passenger, Sarahi Antonio, was killed. Rosales-Romero was arrested on two counts of racing on a highway causing serious bodily injury. Police also mentioned suspected intoxication playing a role in the crash.
