Area authorities are investigating a crash that injured a driver at US 87 in Dawson County, TX on September 25th, 2022. Police say the incident happened around 8:53 p.m. According to investigators, a GMC Sierra operated by 43-year-old Sergio Mejia was headed northbound on US 87 when it veered from the road into a field. It then overturned, ejecting Mejia from the vehicle and causing serious injuries. Officers recommended and/or issued a Failure to Drive in Single Lane charge.
