Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a crash that injured a person at I-45 and Holland Rd in Texas City, TX on July 15th, 2021. Police say the incident happened around 11:12 a.m. A commercial truck operated by a 37-year-old Baytown man reportedly performed an unsafe lane change, striking a Chevrolet Suburban operated by 55-year-old Sheila McCoy. The Suburban was pushed into a concrete barrier, causing McCoy minor injuries. The truck driver was not injured and charged with Changing Lanes When Unsafe and Overt Allowable Gross Weight on Interstate.
