Area authorities are investigating a crash that injured a driver at I-35 in Lewisville, TX on October 23rd, 2023. Police say the incident happened around 10:14 p.m. According to investigators, a Honda Accord operated by 26-year-old Shelley Davis was northbound on I-35 at the time, under poor weather conditions. It was alleged by police the vehicle may have had a flat tire. Officials also allege the vehicle may have been traveling at an unsafe speed prior to losing control and striking a concrete barrier. The impact is said to have pushed the vehicle back onto the roadway where it was struck by a tractor-trailer attempting to avoid the collision. This led to the truck colliding with a Lexus IS. An approaching Dodge Ram struck the Honda while attempting to brake, reports say. Sources indicate Davis was seriously injured while there were not reported injuries with the other drivers.
