What Happened

Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a collision that injured a driver at TX 14 in Limestone County, TX on September 3rd, 2021. Police say the incident happened around 1:20 p.m. A commercial truck operated by a 46-year-old Lancaster man veered from the road and overcorrected, traveling from a northbound lane into an oncoming southbound lane. It then collided with a Hyundai Tucson that attempted to avid the crash by veering into a shoulder. The Tucson was overturned in the collision, coming to rest in a ditch and causing minor injuries to the driver, 42-year-old Shuvon Henderson. The Lancaster man was not injured and charged with Wrong Side Road-Divided Highway.
