State Police have identified the person killed in a crash at I-40 in St Francis County, AR on December 4th, 2022. Officials say the incident happened around 3:34 p.m. According to investigators, a GMC Sierra operated by 45-year-old Sircrease Brooks was reportedly disabled on I-40 when an eastbound semi-truck approached the vehicle. Brooks was reportedly standing outside the disabled vehicle to add gasoline as the truck attempted to pass before striking both Brooks and the vehicle before leaving the scene. Brooks suffered fatal injuries in the collision. Additional details were not available.
