What Happened

Area authorities have information on a crash that killed a person at Glorietta Rd in El Paso County, TX on November 10th, 2021. Police say it happened around 1:50 p.m. A Mitsubishi Lancer operated by 55-year-old Sandra Gonzalez was headed westbound on Glorietta Rd when, for unknown reasons, it reportedly veered into the eastbound lane of the same road. It then collided with a motorcycle operated by 51-year-old Sixto Luevano Cobos. Investigators say the motorcycle did attempt to avoid the collision but was unable and Cobos suffered fatal injuries. They also say after the collision, Gonzalez reportedly fled the scene and officers suggested and/or issued a Accident Involving Injury of Death charge.
