Area authorities are investigating a crash that injured a man at State Hwy 71 in Travis County, TX on October 21st, 2023. Police say the incident happened around 12:51 a.m. According to investigators, a motorcycle operated by a 41-year-old Spicewood man was eastbound on Hwy 71 proper to attempting a left turn onto Crawford Rd. Reports allege the motorcycle was traveling across oncoming lanes as. a westbound Volkswagen Jetta approached. The two vehicles collided, reports say, the impact leaving the Spicewood man seriously injured. The other driver, age 20 and n0t publicly identified, was allegedly uninsured.
