What Happened

Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a crash that injured two drivers at FM 8 in Erath County, TX on June 10th, 2021. Investigators are saying the collision happened around 6:46 p.m. A GMC Sierra C1500 operated by 22-year-old Dylan Koal Thedford is accused of running a stop sign at an intersection and pulling into the path of a Toyota Tundra operated by 77-year-old Stephen Eugene Fambrough. The two vehicles collided before the Sierra crashed into a fence. Both drivers reportedly had serious injuries and police say that Thedford allegedly admitted to consuming alcoholic beverages and that he smelled of alcohol at the scene.
