El Paso Police are investigating a tw0-vehicle crash that killed one person at Loop 375 in El Paso, TX on May 21st, 2023. Police say the incident happened around 2:53 a.m. Police allege a Jeep Wrangler headed northbound on Joe Battle ran a red light prior to colliding with an eastbound Honda Accord. An occupant of the Honda, identified as 28-year-old Steven Anthony Hernandez, was killed. The driver of the Jeep,  identified as 24-year-old Valeria Mena, faces an Intoxication Manslaughter charge, according to authorities. Additional information was not available.
