Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a crash that injured a person at Bandera Rd and Benrus Blvd in San Antonio, TX on July 6th, 2021. Police say the incident happened around 8:57 p.m. A Ford Fusion operated by 21-year-old Emir Alejandro Gonzalez reportedly ran a red light and collided with a Kia Spectra operated by 37-year-old Steven Barron. Barron suffered serious injuries. Gonzalez was not injured and issued a Failure to Stop and Render Aid charge as well as a charge for Driving While Intoxicated.
