What Happened

Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a collision at US 60 near Farwell, TX on March 14th, 2025. Police say the incident happened around 11:30 a.m. Investigators are saying a semi-truck was stopped in the roadway as a result of a previous collision as a GMC Sierra approached. Reports indicate the GMC collided with the rear of a truck as it attempted to move from the roadway, a Chrysler Xxl collided with the truck directly after. officials say the driver of the GMC, identified as 71-year-old Steven Ellard, was fatally injured. The other drivers were both allegedly uninjured. Additional information was not available.
