What Happened

Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a crash that injured two people at State Hwy 195 in Williamson County, TX on April 22nd, 2022. Police say the incident happened around 6:32 a.m. According to police a commercial truck operated by a 47-year-old Killeen man was headed southbound in an inside lane when it collided with the rear of a Kia Rio operated by 36-year-old Susan Marie Morales. The impact pushed the vehicle into a Dodge Charger operated by 39-year-old Frank Palacios. Palacios and Morales both suffered minor injuries. Investigators say the Killeen man alleged possibly falling asleep at the wheel prior to the collision and was issued a Failure to Control Speed charge.
