Area authorities are investigating a crash that injured a woman at I-20 in Sweetwater, TX on October 11th, 2023. Police say the incident happened around 8 a.m. According to investigators, a tractor-trailer headed eastbound is alleged to have performed an unsafe lane change before striking a Kia Sorento operated by a 46-year-old Tabitha Roberson. Officials say the impact caused the Kia to lose control and veer into a center median, overturning into a light pole. Following the collision, officials allege the tractor-trailer continued driving without stopping to render aid and did not remain at the since. Roberson was seriously injured, according to police.
