Haltom City Police released details related to a crash and arrest at Webster St and Denton Hwy in Haltom City, TX on December 3rd, 2021. They say the incident happened around 5:35 when police received word about an alleged intoxicated driver. According to reports, a vehicle operated by 18-year-old Tanner Dodson is said to have collided with two vehicles and fled the scene of both collisions to a nearby restaurant. Officials were able to locate Dodson, who is said to have fled the area in his vehicle, approaching the intersection at Webster St at a high rate of speed. It was there that the vehicle collided with another vehicle. The driver of that vehicle was hospitalized with serious injuries. Dodson was also seriously injured and hospitalized for treatment. Police allege that Dodson was intoxicated and anticipate that Intoxication Assault and Evading Arrest with a Vehicle charges to be filed.
