What Happened

Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a crash that injured two people at US 87 in Potter County, TX on July 15th, 2022. Police say the incident happened around 10:40 p.m. According to investigators, a Buick Enclave operated by 34-year-old Ted Stiles was headed northbound on US 87 when it veered from its lane. Upon attempting to correct itself, the vehicle went into a skid and into a center median where it overturned. Stiles suffered serious injuries while his passenger, 34-year-old Andrea Stiles, was less seriously injured. Reports indicate a Driving While Intoxicated charge was recommended and/or issued.
