Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a crash that injured a teen at FM 681 and Jessica Ln in Hidalgo County, TX on October 5th, 2024. Police say the incident happened around 7:06 p.m. According to investigators, a Nissan Altima headed southbound at Moorefield Rd is said to have performed a wide right turn as a northbound Chevrolet reformed an evasive maneuver to avoid a collision. Reports say the two vehicles ended up colliding, the impact causing the 17-year-old driver of the Chevrolet to suffer serious injuries. The driver of the Nissan, who was not publicly identified, was allegedly uninjured and charged with Intoxication Assault with Vehicle.
