Police are investigating a crash that injured a teen at Mayfield Rd in Grand Prairie, TX on August 24th, 2024. Police say the incident happened around 12;47 a.m. According to investigators, a Mercedes-Benz 240 headed headed eastbound on Mayfield Rd before entering into a turn lane. Reports allege the vehicle failed to yield to a westbound Hyundai Accent, the two vehicles colliding as a result. Reports say the 17-year-old operator of the Hyundai was seriously injured. The other driver was also allegedly seriously injured and sources indicate that driver was charged with Intonation Assault. Additional information was not immediately available.
