What Happened

A fatal single-vehicle crash occurred on April 2, 2025, at approximately 11:54 p.m. on westbound IH-10 near Monmouth Street in Harris County. A white Toyota Tacoma pickup was traveling in the main lane when the driver failed to maintain a single lane. The vehicle overturned and sustained major left side and top damage. The 35-year-old driver was uninjured, but the 17-year-old front-seat passenger was killed in the crash. The driver was not licensed and was allegedly not charged at the scene.
