Authorities in Houston, TX, are investigating a serious collision that occurred on January 3, 2025, at approximately 6:52 p.m. on Sowden Rd near Rannie Rd. A 24-year-old male driver, operating a 2008 Pontiac Torrent, was traveling southeast when he failed to maintain a single lane and collided with a 2017 Nissan Rogue. The crash resulted in three occupants of the Nissan Rogue sustaining suspected serious injuries, while the driver of the Pontiac was uninjured. Toxicology reports indicated the Pontiac driver had a BAC of 0.174 and tested negative for drugs. He was charged with a misdemeanor DWI. The investigation is complete.
