Authorities in Pecos County, TX, are investigating a two-vehicle collision that occurred on October 27, 2024, at approximately 4:30 p.m. at the intersection of State Highway 18 and Farm-to-Market Road 1450. A 2013 Ford F-150, allegedly driven by a 69-year-old female, disregarded a stop sign and collided with a 2008 Dodge Ram 1500 traveling southbound. The Ford driver and two passengers, ages 67 and 72, sustained minor injuries. The 42-year-old female passenger and an 11-year-old male passenger in the Dodge sustained serious injuries and were transported to a nearby medical facility. Contributing factors included failure to obey a stop sign. The investigation is ongoing.
