Authorities are investigating a crash that injured several people at State Hwy 321 and Linney St in Dayton, TX on August 16th, 2024. Police say the incident happened around 6:19 p.m. According to investigators, a Chevrolet Tahoe headed northbound on Cleveland is alleged to have disregarded a traffic signal prior to colliding with a turning Dodge Ram. Reports indicate the driver of the Dodge, only identified as a 31-year-old Dayton man, was one of three people with injuries believed to be minor in nature. The driver of the Chevrolet was allegedly more seriously injured, as was an 8-year-old passenger. Additional information was not available.
