Authorities in Harris County, TX, are investigating a two-vehicle crash that occurred on March 19, 2025, at approximately 12:30 a.m. on US Highway 290. A Lexus ES 350 was traveling east when it failed to control speed and rear-ended a Honda Civic that was slowing for traffic. The 43-year-old driver of the Lexus sustained suspected serious injuries and was charged with driving while intoxicated. The 33-year-old female driver and 32-year-old male passenger in the Honda both sustained minor injuries. Speeding and alcohol use were identified as contributing factors.
