What Happened

Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a crash that injured three people at Galveston Rd in Houston, TX on December 11th, 2021. They say the incident happened around 5 p.m. A Mercury Grand Marquis operated by an unidentified 44-year-old male was headed northbound on Galveston Rd when the vehicle veered from the road into a metal road barrier. It then overturned multiple time, ejecting at least one person from the vehicle. The driver and two passengers, ages 38 and 53, were all seriously injured. Investigators allege the driver may have been under the influence of alcohol at the time of the crash.
