Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a crash that killed three people at US 57 in Frio County, TX on May 24th, 2022. Police say the incident happened around 1:48 p.m. According to investigators, a tractor-trailer operated by a 37-year-old Orlando, FL man was headed westbound on US 57 when it collided with a second tractor-trailer under unclear circumstances. Both drivers died as well as a 35-year-old passenger in the second truck. A 36-year-old passenger suffered minor injuries. Additional information was not immediately available.
