Area authorities are investigating a crash that injured two people at US 259 in Morris County, TX on August 16th, 2022. Police say the incident happened around 7:35 a.m. According to investigators, a Dodge Ram operated by 38-year-old Wendi Jane Miller was headed westbound on I-30 frontage road when it allegedly failed to yield at the intersection with US 259. The vehicle was struck by a tractor-trailer and the impact pushed the Dodge into a ditch. 38-year-old Dodge passenger, Timothy Eugene Miller, suffered minor injuries while a 12-year-old passenger was reportedly seriously injured. The truck driver was not injured. Officers recommended and/or issued a charge of Failure to Yield.
