Houston Police are investigating a crash that killed a man at Southwest Freeway in Houston, TX on March 13th, 2025. Police say the incident happened around 5:45 a.m. According to investigators, a Ford Expedition headed southbound is alleged to have stopped in a lane of traffic due to a flat tire. While stopped, reports say the vehicle was struck from the rear by a Kia Sportage before the Kia was struck by a BMW. Following the collision, the operator of the Ford allegedly fled the scene while a passenger in the Ford, identified as Tony Hernandez Jr, suffered fatal injuries.
