What Happened

Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a crash that killed a man at  I-45 in Walker County, TX on July 19th, 2021. Police say it happened late evening and involved a passenger vehicle headed northbound colliding with the rear of an 18-wheeler. The car then caught fire and the driver, 26-year-old Tray Ryan Penrod, was killed. Additional information was not immediately available.
