Police say the incident happened around 7:45 p.m. According to investigators, a GMC Sierra headed westbound on County Rd T is said to have lost control while navigating a curve in the roadway. Authorities say the vehicle went into a skid during evasive action before veering from the road and going airborne. Officials say the vehicle landed into a ditch, the crash leaving a 26-year-old passenger seriously injured. Officials say the 29-year-old Sanford man operating the vehicle had less serious injuries.
