What Happened

Authorities are investigating a crash that injured at least two people at FM 529 and Glen Chase Dr in Harris County, TX on July 31st, 2024. Police say the incident happened around 11:29 p.m. According to investigators, a Honda Pilot headed westbound is alleged to have attempted to travel between a Honda Civic and Toyota Tacoma ahead occupying different lanes. Reports say that in the process, the Pilot struck the Toyota, causing it to spin and strike a Toyota Tacoma, the impact causing it to overturn. Report say the driver of the Honda was seriously injured while the driver of the Tacoma had possible, unconfirmed injuries. The driver of the Honda, also not publicly identified, had non-life-threatening injuries and was allegedly charged with Intoxication Assault. Additional information was not immediately available.
