What Happened

Texas Department of Public Safety officials have information on a crash that injured two people at I-35 and Vista Ridge Mall Dr in Lewisville, TX on August 18th, 2021. Police say it happened around 2:23 a.m. A Honda Accord operated by 23-year-old Ashley Eguia is said to have been headed southbound on I-35E when it crashed into a road barrier. Two passengers, ages 19 and 24, were seriously injured. Eguia was evaluated for possible injuries and charged with Intoxication Assault.
