What Happened

Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a crash that injured two people at Mount Houston Rd and Suburban Rd in Harris County, TX on February 25th, 2022. Investigators say the incident happened around 12:36 p.m. They allege that a tractor-trailer operated by a 67-year-old Houston man reportedly rear-ended a Ford Escape operated by 37-year-old Raul Mendoza Jr. Mendoza was not injured, however, two passengers, ages 39 and 56, were both seriously injured. The truck driver was also not injured and records show a Following Too Close charge was issued.
