What Happened

San Antonio Police are investigating a crash that killed two people at I-35 and New Braunfels Ave in San Antonio, TX on March 23rd, 2022. Police say the incident happened around 7:45 a.m. Police say an officer spotted an SUV that was traveling erratically and attempted to perform a traffic stop. The SUV reportedly sped away before crashing into a metal pole and overturning several times. Two male passengers were ejected from the vehicle and died at the scene. Four others were hospitalized with serious injuries. Police say one person was arrested but additional information was not provided.
