Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a crash that injured a driver at I-10 and Stagg Dr in Beaumont, TX on February 8th, 2022. Police say the incident happened around 1:49 p.m. A tractor-trailer operated by 58-year-old Mansfield, LA man is accused of performing an unsafe lane change and collided with a Lexus operated by 61-year-old Vernia Carrierre Jackson. Jackson suffered minor injuries in the collision. The driver of the truck was not injured and reports indicate Unsafe Lane Change charges were issued.
