Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a crash that injured a driver at Mopac Expressway in Travis County, TX on July 4th, 2023. Police say the incident happened around 2:55 a.m. According to investigators, a Kia Sportage operated by 29-year-old Victoria Carter is believed to have been headed northbound at the time of the crash. While traveling, police say the vehicle veered to the right, striking a barrier wall just past a toll booth. From there, officials allege the vehicle traveled across multiple lanes into a barrier wall. Police say the crash caused Carter to suffer serious injuries. Authorities did not have additional information available.
