Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a crash that injured a pedestrian at Rand Ct in Burleson, TX on July 4th, 2021. Police say the incident happened around 2:36 a.m. A Honda Civic operated by a 57-year-old Las Vegas, NV woman reportedly was attempting to reverse out of a private driveway when it collided with a pedestrian.  The vehicle then continued to reverse and struck the pedestrian, identified as 28-year-old Vinlisia Nunez, suffered serious injuries. The driver was charged with Intoxication Assault and Assaulting a Peace Officer.
