What Happened

Florida Highway Patrol officials have located a driver in connection with a fatal collision at Curry Ford Rd in Orlando, FL on April 5th, 2022. They say a box truck collided with a driver that exited their disabled SUV before fleeing the scene. The driver of the SUV, 57-year-old Virginia Celli-Olivo, died at the scene. Police say the Celli-Olivo stopped to escort a turtle from the roadway. The driver of the box truck, identified as 30-year-old Miguel Valero Gonzalez, was later located an arrested on a charge of leaving the scene of a fatal accident.
