What Happened

Area authorities have information on a crash that injured a driver at Lakeside Pkwy in Flower Mound, TX on April 11th, 2022. Police say the incident happened around 6:29 p.m. According to investigators, a tractor-trailer operated by a 34-year-old Arlington man was exiting a private driveway and in the process of turning left onto eastbound Lakeside Pkwy. A Chevrolet Camaro operated by 20-year-old Walter Rolando Alvarenga Perdomo was headed westbound when the vehicles collided. Police say Perdomo, who suffered minor injuries, allegedly told them fatigue may have decreased responsiveness while driving. Investigators say failure to yield during the left turn on the part of the truck, whose driver was uninjured, also may have contributed to the crash.
