What Happened

Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a crash that injured a driver at State Hwy 6 in Bosque County, TX on November 25th, 2021. Police say the incident happened around 1:43 a.m. A Hyundai Elantra operated by 33-year-old Westin Tant Horn was headed northbound on State Hwy 6 when it veered from the road and crashed into a tree. The vehicle caught fire and Horn suffered what are said to have been serious injuries. Responding officers say there were allegedly beer cans located at the scene near the vehicle and suspect alcohol played a part in the crash.
