Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a crash that killed a person at FM 4 in Hood County, TX on August 5th, 2022. Police say the incident happened around 2:50 a.m. According to investigators, a Toyota Corolla operated by 34-year-old William Faulknor Jr was traveling northwest on FM 4 as it approached a curve in the roadway. The vehicle is alleged to have been traveling at an unsafe speed, causing it to lose control while taking the curve. It veered from the road into a ditch, hitting a pipe fence and causing Faulknor to suffer fatal injuries. Officials had no additional information to share.
