What Happened

A crash occurred at 1:57 p.m. on September 10th, 2024, on Commercial St in Aransas Pass, TX, involving a Cadillac Escalade and a Ford Fiesta. According to reports, the Cadillac was exiting a private driveway, attempting to turn left onto the southbound lane of Commercial St, when it allegedly failed to yield to oncoming traffic. As a result, the northbound Ford Fiesta collided with  the Cadillac. The driver of the Ford, identified as 53-year-old William Kavonius, allegedly sustained serious injuries and was transported to a local hospital. The driver of the Cadillac, who was not publicly identified, was also taken to the hospital for non-life-threatening injuries. Additional information was not available.
