What Happened

Police have information on a single-vehicle crash that killed a driver at County Rd 2766 in Blanco County, TX on Police say the incident happened before 7 a.m. According to investigators, a Toyota Tacoma was eastbound on RR 2766, navigation a curve in the roadway. Reports claim the vehicle continued straight at the curve, leaving the roadway and striking a fence and pole. From there, police say the vehicle traveled through a ditch and continued until it struck a tree. Authorities say the driver, identified as 69-year-old William McDaniel, was fatally injured. Additional inforamtion was not available.
